On top of trying to be a well-rounded student, they might also have to work at a job in order to meet his or her financial expectations. A job can be overwhelming for a grown adult who is done with his or her education. Can a person imagine how hard it is for a student to balance both work and school? It doubles the load on these types of students! Students work a set amount of hours each week. These working hours can get in the way of a student’s school work. This could affect how well the student will do in school since this takes away time that could be put forth into studying. This can become hard to make time for if a student is under the constant worry of having a job and doing well in school. Sometimes in a student’s quest for success, he or she will isolate themselves from being social. Friends and family are there to help a student in any way possible. However once the student secludes themselves, it becomes hard for friends and family members to help. This seclusion can cause a drift in the relationships the student has with family and friends. Students can also take the anxiety they have from school, work, or both and project the emotional effects of stress on to family and friends. The student may accidentally become irritable with the family or friends out of the anger and frustration the student has from stress.
