Individuals experience the world in a particular way which investigates this sociological view expressed through three diverse types. These types include: functionalism, conflict theory, and symbolic interactionism, which will be investigated more thoroughly. As humans, we maintain the ability to view the world in a cognitive form, were we are able to distinguish patterns which later help us with the development of language, common expressions, relatable symbols, religion, customs, values, beliefs and a unique understanding of our existence.

Although we followed many traditions of the Christian faith we also adopted the traditions and values of the Jehovah witness. Since I am a Christian I believe that through Christ and accepting him as my savior, and the who had his only son die for all of our sins so that we may have endured ever lasting peace. This has made me a strong believer as the world as a place we can work harmoniously together, similar to the belief of structural functionalism theory. This is expressed through my actions in the ten amendments states to love and treat another as you would to a loved one or yourself. We are shaped and structuralized through our experiences and that is what makes us unique. How we respond and adapt to these changes have lasting effects. An example can be portrayed through actions, how we respond and act, like holding the door open for someone. Or smiling back to a smiling stranger passing by. All these shapes us as a whole and each action is for the greater good of humankind. June 6th, 1944 is marked as a proud day in America where we, as a nation. stepped into the German invasion, in the tragic case from the effect of the massacre of Jews. As a country, founded by the name of God as its fundamental roots, displayed compassion and empathy which ultimately resulted in us intervening with the chaos from Adolf Hitler. Today many people are familiar with the swastika symbol and relate it to this tragic “ruling era”. Although, to this day it represents a sacred symbol to some cultures like Hindu, Buddhism, and Jainism. Which can be linked from our ancestry ties to Greek, the first translation of the Hebrew Bible.
