My biggest strength is that I am a strong communicator. As a formerly quiet and shy young professional, although I was often recognized for exhibiting strong written communication skills, I previously considered my verbal skills as one of my largest weaknesses. To overcome this weakness, I participated in a number of communication, public speaking, and leadership workshops that helped me hone my ability to not merely communicate, but to communicate effectively. I also participated in volunteer opportunities that required me to engage in public speaking and presentations to increase my level of comfort with communicating in large groups.
