One exercise I feel is important and I am very interested in learning about and putting into work is abdominal strengthening. Most people do abdominal strengthen for six pack and flat stomachs. Although that sounds amazing I learned the importance of core strength after having my third child. I went into labor naturally and my delivery went so fast my body struggled in adapting to the changes of going from pregnant into labor. I had lost a great deal of core strength to the point I needed help going from a lay down position to sitting. Eventually my body was able to adjust and I did minor exercises to get back to “normal.” Harvard health publications wore an article in regards to real world benefits of strengthening you core.
