In our society, we see poverty as taboo because of this idea that there should not be an excuse to be poor in this country. As a future educator it is my duty to educate those around me to start being serious about eliminating poverty, especially in low income families that are not aware of the tools and resources they can use to help them get on a road out of poverty.
