After reading the two articles about gun control, my stance on the issue has been greatly influenced. Before reading the articles, I thought that guns should have stricter laws just because they were dangerous, but after reading them, I’ve realized that there are many more reasons that the US should adopt stricter gun control regulations. The leading reason why I think this is because gun regulations will likely reduce high crime rates, like they did in European countries and Australia after they enacted stricter gun laws. Not only will this lower violence and deaths, but it will also help lessen the fear that Americans have towards guns.

There are ideas and elements from the article by Taya Kyle that I can agree with, but there is a lot that
