Mrs. Lara is a 34 year old female who presented to the ED following driving her car into a tree after taking her eyes off the road. She reported financial stressors, medical issues, and relational issues as stressors contributing to her distress. Mrs. Lara admits experiencing suicidal ideation with multiple plans to end her life due to stressors. In January of this year Mrs. Lara attempted to alleviate her worsening depression be taking anti-depressant prescribed by her primary care physician, however due worsening depressive symptoms over the past few weeks she expressed only ending her life as the only means to cope with stressors. Dr. Ryan Snyder requested as assessment on Mrs. Lara to determine need for appropriate care. At the time of
