Stress Experience Essay

My experience with stress has sure had it 's ups and downs over the years. Especially, depending on the situation in life I may be experiencing at the time. I said the first experience I had with real stress was at the age of fifteen. My parents were going through a nasty divorce and it left me feeling stressed out to say the least. My body responded to the stress with full body rashes, that itched like crazy. I really didn 't know how to respond to the stress or even what it was at the time, and nobody took out the time to explain or find out what was going on with me. I attribute this to the fact that I don 't work, and my wonderful husband takes care of any daily life needs (like paying bills). He has relieved me from a lot of the daily life hassles that may cause acute stress. Now, If I would have took this test four years ago when I was working as a bartender my score would have been a lot higher. I was totally stressed out then. Working full time in a burnout situation will leave you feeling that way. I thank God that is no longer my life. I was starting to crumble from all the pressures of being married with kids, while working and going to school full time. It was a bit much. The second stress test: Are you stressed also had a low result of three which was reflected by saying few hassles, which is true. I have no worries therefore I have no stress. This is not just because of few hassles in my opinion but also because I am older and wiser and things that might have been stressful to me in the past no longer
