Streptomycin

Antibiotic is a medicine that inhibits the growth of or destroys microorganisms. April 20th our class was assigned to do experiment. First step, Dr.Okeke went through the lab rule with our class. Second, our class had to get in groups of 6. Third step, Dr.Okeke gave everyone safety goggles, gloves, and mouth mask. Safety goggles are forms of protective eyewear that usually enclose or protect the area surrounding the eye in order to prevent particulates, water or chemicals from striking the eyes. We needed gloves because we using hazardous chemicals and other materials that will protect our hands from infection and contamination.
