I took the VIA personality survey and my results were as followed. My top five strengths are Love, Kindness, Fairness, Gratitude, Spirituality, and Appreciation of Beauty. My five weaknesses included Prudence, Humor, Self-Regulation, Forgiveness, and Love of Learning. I believe these strengths and weakness make me who I am, but they will also help me achieve and succeed in my future vocation. With my degree in Psychology and Public Health I want to work with children who are diagnosed with a mental disorder, specifically autism. It is hard to be loving, but not kind at the same time. Therefore I would argue that my top personality strengths are being loving and kind. I believe there are many different levels of love in this world. I love my parents differently than I love my best friends, but in the end it is still love. She was a good one-on-one teacher, but when she taught to the whole class something was lost in translation. Whenever I was able to go in and get help I understood what we were doing, but I am very busy and she did not always have time to see me. I also struggled with my Psychology Statistics class. It is the whole concept of math that I think make my brain shut down. I can do simple math and math problems that I know the equation for so all I have to do is plug in numbers. The sad thing is not all problems are like that. Therefore I knew that I did not want to follow the research side of psychology, because I would not have been any good at it. That is also
