The three people I chose to ask about my strengths and weaknesses are: my mom, Keaton (Boss), and my best friend from home, AJ O’Bert. The first person I asked was my mom, because I usually am around her the most when I come home to Eden Prairie from Fargo. The strengths she thought I have are: determination, dedication, respectfulness and honesty. She felt that I show great determination in what I want to get out of things. An example she said is that I was very determined to get an internship for the upcoming summer of 2018 and that I wasn’t going to stop trying until I got one. She felt that I show great dedication in what I do because she feels I don’t want to get the best out of everything I might be doing. The last two she summed up together

I have yet to work in the construction industry so over time my experience level in this industry will continue and be able to reach these skills. A lot of these skills I can try to complete now as I continue my education like being more team orientated and improving my communication skills. I am currently enrolled in construction club called AGC and it is very helpful with amount of helpful information being told from guest speakers in the construction industry explaining on what to expect when you enter into the industry as well as their company. I believe that if I get my masters in Construction Management, it will greater my chance of my career goal of becoming a Construction Manager. I am currently employed by Menards which is a general supplier to some construction companies. I believe this helpful for my goal because I have been gaining knowledge on the material side on what is needed for certain projects. Last summer I got my CDL and could operate the dump truck at the job sites. This was very helpful to get some understanding what to expect at an actual construction site. These past jobs have all potentially helped me with my future career goal, but one last way to accomplish it is by becoming a member of CMAA, which is Construction Management Association of America. I feel this involvement will be another way to help me accomplish my future career goal of becoming a Construction
