Strengthen My Writing Skills

This College Composition One class has helped me in multiple ways to strengthen my writing skills. For example, writing for at least seven minutes a day in my journal helped me display the things I have learned in this class. One of the requirements in the journal entries is to nonstop write. By writing nonstop it has helped me make sure that everything is written correctly and to think of ideas on the spot. Aside from this, I learned how to write several types of essays including: extended definition, research, comparison, argument, and college entrance. I found that if I use an outline it is not hard to go from first draft to my final paper.
This English class was a valuable learning experience for me. Although sometimes the work was a little tiring, knowing that I will be able to use my skills elsewhere makes it worthwhile. I have gained so much insights in this class about my writing style and habits. I think the most effective aspect of this class was the journal entries. I was able to hang on to the new skills that I had learned and use them in my journal entry everyday. During some of my essays, I was able to map out a timeline for my writing. When I began this class I was an average writer but as time went on, and I learned new skills, I became a way better writer. My writing skills are not the only thing that improved from this class. My typing and reading skills also improved. In this class, we also had to work at a faster pace in order to get all of our papers done. By working at a faster pace, it helped my typing skills out tremendously. In the beginning this was challenging because I like to take my type to make my work look better and more informational. In order for me to get my work done I had to spend more time doing the assignment. I realized that if I put more effort to accomplish my goal, I will become
