Based on (Athlete Warehouse, 1992) Case Study, we realize the Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat that the Athlete’s Warehouse presents. First of all, the Strength Athlete’s Warehouse has is Massive. Collin and Ed, who have both got huge experiences in Athletics, with Collin going a step further by acquiring knowledge in Physical Education. They therefore, have enough knowledge about different sports and the gears needed, from shoes to Athletic Clothing. Secondly, the selection of footwear and Athletic clothing which target different age groups and different tastes of consumers means that they have an advantage of other companies, who don’t have similar MIX. Thirdly Compared to the former setup in Comer Brook, at Grand Falls, Collin has a plan to give a full time dedication to the Business. A dedication towards the Business would mean easy spotting of potential opportunities or threats, and therefore higher chance of success.
However, although it has its strength, the Athletic Warehouse also has its weakness. They (Collin and Ed) want high quality

The opportunities on the market are also worthy taking advantage of, however, that is if we assume that the other players on the market haven’t noticed them and aren’t looking to utilize them. A clear competitive advantage has also not been established, and although Collin and Ed believe that their Experience and expertise is worthy, there’s no guarantee that another Business in the area won’t invest in the same. It is therefore correct to say that any competitive advantage that the Athlete’s warehouse will have would be in a short-term because other Businesses can easily duplicate the same. Based on my observation, the assumptions that Collin has made will most likely lead the Business down the
