Strength Training Exercises

I have a question for the men and women who incorporate weights into their workouts, and protein smoothies into their diet. I weighed myself today at random. Now, I don't normally weigh myself within the week. I usually weigh myself at random times every other month on Saturdays. I exercise 5x a week and do strength training exercises 3x a week and incorporate weights as well. I am trying to gain lean muscle mass; I am going for a lean toned look this is why I started incorporating protein smoothies. I was caught by surprise when I weighed myself today, I gained 1 pound and 2 ounces. I was in so disbelief I got on the scale three more times and received the same weight. I have been doing well on my lifestyle change. When I have my cheat meal
