Despite their best effort, the EMTs never got a pulse. Frasier found their actions uplifting in a city where a lot of people have given up on the humanity of the inhabitants. They have also given up on the services provided to them by the city. The heroism of these strangers touched him. These people tried their everything to revive a total stranger, interrupting their daily life with no expectation of even a thank you.
