1) WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT STREET HOCKEY?
Street hockey is also known as ball hockey, road hockey, and dek hockey. Street hockey is a variation of the game of ice hockey, in which the game is played outdoors with people wearing inline skates, roller skates, or just shoes. The game is played with a hockey stick and a ball or puck. Although it is preferable to play on an outdoor surface, such as tennis court, parking lot, a street, or any other asphalt surface, it can also be played indoors such as on a basketball court. The objective of street hockey is to score more points than than the opposing team by shooting the puck or ball into the other team’s net. It’s highest governing body is the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation.

Of the three offensive players, there is one center, and two wings. The center offense is responsible for the leading the attack on the opposing team by working with the wings to try to shoot and score. The wings also try to break up plays, disrupt the other team’s shot attempts, and make themselves open to receive/send passes to and from other players. The entire forward line can be changed any time during a play, but after a play is over, the offense should return to their original positions. There are two defenders, right defense and left defense, who usually stay behind the forward line so they can better protect their goal. They usually stay in their own zones so they can help defend their goal from the opposing team’s
