The overall objective of this internship program is to give an opportunity to the students in order to learn and gain valuable experience that can never be attained from lectures in classroom. Accordingly, the author managed to develop skills related to the project assigned and also in order to learn gradually about machinery items in vessels and also in workshop.
Skills and knowledge were also gained upon attending meeting and informal discussion session whereby many technical things and requirements that are necessary to machinery department were discussed most of the time. The author’s knowledge about boiler especially, has been enriched after researching vastly about it in these 28 weeks. Moreover, the author also improves herself on

Benchmarked to international standards, the CoBE will serve as a guiding beacon concerning how the employees are expected to conduct in our workplace. The CoBE will not only promote legal and procedural compliance, but it will also provide a moral compass to ensure employees individual behavior is in line with the MMHE Shared Values.

The CoBE contains detailed policy statements on the standards of behavior and ethical conduct expected of each individual to whom the CoBE applies. The CoBE is to apply to all employees and directors within the MMHE Group worldwide. MMHE also expects that contractors, subcontractors, consultants, agents, representatives and others performing work or services for or on behalf of MMHE will comply with the relevant parts of the CoBE when performing such work or services. In particular, the CoBE expressly prohibits improper solicitation, bribery and other corrupt activity not only by employees and directors but also by third parties performing work or services for or on behalf of companies in the MMHE Group Ethics of a worker represents their true character. A professional engineer should know managing their personal matters and their career. Working in a large company means dealing with many different characters. MMHE is committed in providing, a safe, secure and conducive workplace culture and environment, where the values of mutual and reciprocal respect, trust and confidence are upheld and actively promoted.
