I called the writer, Christine Clarke the director for Strathcona Park Lodge (SPL). This was the first contact she has had with Ministry staff from out office. She send a letter to the Ministry to request the purchase of an easement between SPL two parcels to allow them to comply with new federal government drinking water regulations. What they really want is to discuss how we would determine the value of the easement then they can complete a cost benefit anaylisis to determine the most coast effective approach to become compliant.

At the moment, the rated letter explain we are not interested in selling the easement because we have a responsibility to providing public access to lake. SPL will not accept this explain because there are many
