In general, I think my interview went well although some imperfections still exist. One of the useful strategy I employed is holding the mock interview before conducting the real one, and I find this practice really benefited me as a qualitative researcher at a beginning level. However one concern that I held for this mock interview in particular is that I somehow constructed more pre-assumptions and expectations that should not have existed on the participant and her answers through this process, which was totally against the self reflective principle for being a qualified qualitative researcher.
