“Coping is defined as realistic and flexible thoughts and acts that solve problems and thereby reduce stress” (Lazarus & Folkman, 1984:118).
Individuals may cope with stress in many different ways. Coping refers to the actions and thoughts we use to manage an undermining circumstances. There are some strategies which can be used to reduce stress, some are for individuals and others are linked to organizations.
