Scenario
Suits Me Online is a largest online clothing store in UK. They have more than 20 shops in whole UK with a huge online setup having more than 20 employees in IT department. Currently, they are using a software which gives support to all shops and online setup. The main functions of the softwear is to give order booking support to customer services team and all shop keeper so that can place orders and get all products information with comfort. As SuitsMe Online is enhancing its shops and spent more money in marketing so they are expecting more customers to hit online and over customer services for placing orders. The strategic change could be happen among customer services team, shopkeepers, catalogue management team, networking team and enquiry team. This change is necessary and would give much more help and support towards all employees.

AC 1.1: Discuss models of strategic change
Strategic change is a most important part of an organisation and it should be done by planning and using models. As operations manager, I need to follow some effective models to set up an outstanding change of software in SuitsMe. There are different change models available to apply for competent strategic change but I am going to introduce three models here for a strategic change which is as follow:
1- John P. Kotter’s Eight Step Change Model
2- Kurt Lewis

This model is an ideal model for bring software change in suits me online. This model will give complete awareness about how to bring change and how to handle middle and after change. The eight steps for Kotter’s model gives great direction in implementing software change also gives great direction to how to increase urgency and how to move forward with following the vision right and after the change happened, how to handle the situation.
Step 1- I will bring some urgency to move on new software by telling upper management and the lower management that the current software is not much reliable and due to increasing customers, it is going in danger of data loss. So this will make the mind of people there.
Step 2- Next step is to select appropriate people for bring awareness towards lower management so I am going to arrange a training programs and going to make helping guidelines to bring awareness among all staff by using software
