Literature said that a winning company requires strategic analysis to gather information which involves examination of internal and external environment of the company in order to establish strong and bad points (Campbell et al 2002). Clearly constructed strategy determinate a long term goals and objectives and ensure that company differentiate themselves by allocation of decision in order to achieve successful adoption (Chandler 1962, Porter 1980 and Mintzberg 1987). For that very reason this report will concentrate on the analysis of Amadeus performance,
1.1 Travel industry Overview

In terms of providers available in Amadeus there are 690 airlines storing their flight schedules, 32 car rental companies, 20 cruise lines, 30 ferries, 300000 hotel properties, 288 hotel chains, 100 rail companies and 243 tour operators as well as travel insurance companies.

In terms of travel sellers Amadeus have around 400,000 agency points of sale and 145 airline reservation offices and services over 6,000 corporations worldwide such as Phillip Morris International, Nokia Siemens Networks, Volvo, Nordea Bank, Cemex, Daimler, France Telecom, Bosch, and
