Storyteller Personal Statement

Once I started down the road as a storyteller, I knew it must be my calling to teach the fundamentals of this dynamic craft to the next generation. I started my road as a storyteller while living in Elgin for eight-years. In fact, I live about 5 miles from Judson University and thought that I would enjoy teaching there. Now, I hope to shine at one of the Universities had wanted to teaching once I earned my MFA at Savannah College of Art and Design. I will teach students that storytellers don’t sit behind a computer or stand behind a camera, but must understand the responsibility and power of a film to change lives. They will learn how to make ethical, moral choices and create a better world through the lens. I know the power of the motion picture
