All of these stories have setting and all of settings will be shown in this essay. You will learn every setting detail in each story. The setting for “ The Lottery” is in a small, over crowded town. The story takes place in the town square. This is where the “lottery” happens. Everyone in town gathers around here to draw a card and see who “wins”. When this will end no one knows. Maybe this will go on until the “lottery” is outlawed or the town is back to normal. In the Ray Bradbury's story “ All summer in a day”, the setting is on venus where kids live and go to school.
