Throughout the film this lady by the name of Mrs. Mallard was a woman who just wanted to experience the world with her love. She wanted to see Pairs as was told to the readers and viewers in “The Story of an Hour” plenty of times. Even with her heart condition she wanted to still live. Mallard something and waved it in her face as if it 's a dog treat being waved in front of an excited golden retriever. By doing so he peeked her curiosity and made her more anxious. She then pleaded with him to give it to her but he said it 's not six. It is a woman 's place to do what is told. He told her to wait tell six. Why do she have to wait? Why does she have to wait on a gift for her? Is it Christmas? As if it 's a woman obligation to give men their body when they ask and carry their but a woman but wait on them hand and fit. This antique role of man is disrespectful and degrading and the sad part about is Mrs. Mallard isn 't get anything from their relationship but let downs time after time. It 's know wonder her got gave out when her husband walked through the door. She realized her heart couldn 't take no more
