“Seventh Grade” by Gary Soto illustrates Hes in conflict with himself because he struggles to ask her out.The text states”On the way to his homeroom,Victor tried to scowl.He felt foolish”(Soto pg 2).He wants to ask her out this year but he keeps saying dumb things and being scared to do it.The text states “Mr.Bueller asked if anyone knew French.Victor raised his hand wanting to impress Teresa.The teacher beamed and said,”Tres bien.Parlez-vous francais? Victor didn't know what to say”(Soto pg5).In the end Victor setup a study date and he was happy he would be with Teresa.That’s what I think the conflict is in “Seventh Grade” By Gary
