The resonating vibration of thunder growled through the gloomy grey sky before ploughing into the earth as though God himself was striking the land. I felt the ground beneath my feet tremble in fear and I knew my only option was to run, run as fast as my feet could take me and find refuge n somewhere safe for me and my beloved. As I felt my blood pulsating throughout my body I clasped onto my innocent little girl to young to understand the events where were occurring around her. As I squeezed her fragile body against mine, protecting her from the treacherous storm which was unfolding before our eyes.

I began running down the main street without a soul in sight, feeling the gush of wind pressing its forces against me, each step i touch felt like two more back. the harder i pushed through the gale as though pushing through a crowd, the more the wind pressed back determined to blow me away. Stormy Weather: The New Hampshire Primary and Presidential Politics by Dante J. Scala is written with the intent to deliberately educate about the New Hampshire Primary. From its birth, with through many examples at various primaries, Stormy Weather does just that without skipping a single beat. Mr. Scala utilizes a concept from Analyst Rhodes Cook that breaks up the nomination process into five stages, but adopts it as his own by applying it almost exclusively to the New Hampshire Primary. The first stage, for example, is the “Exhibition Stage,” also known as the invisible primary due to the fact that there is nothing in place to indicate how well a candidate is performing during this timeframe.…

He was typically a light sleeper, so this was concerning for him. It was a record hot summer and ended up warming the temperature of the Gulf of Mexico something similar to bath water. But suddenly the air had cooled, and he could feel the waves crashing against the stilts that held his home up and he began to grow concerned. Joseph awoke with the same feeling and said he had recorded a few changes in the weather, but nothing great enough to cause concern. Throughout the book Larson provides information about what causes these storms, weather conditions prefacing these storms (not to mention during) and just overall a very insightful look into attributes to these disasters.…

Her face was ashen, like she'd just received the worst news possible. Her hands were shaky, and before she could tell me what was wrong I was crying; it's so hard to observe someone you care about in a fragile, broken state. This experience was one that showed me when times get rough, you must be strong – for yourself, and those around you. It showed me that strength means facing problems, working through them, and always keeping your head up, which is exactly what we did.…

In the forming stage, all five students are sitting and waiting quietly for the principle to come in to explain the rules. Meanwhile, no one is talking to each other or making much eye contact. Interestingly, when John walks into detention, he automatically makes Brian move, which is the first example of him trying to be the dominator. After the principle explains the rules and assigning them to write an essay on who they think they are, the group quickly moves to the storming stage where conflicts begin to unfold. For starters, no group members are motivated to write the essay especially John who starts to pick on Claire by saying how he bets that she is a virgin and starts interrogating her by asking her if she ever kissed a boy and so forth.…
