As a parent, can he or she be aware of the problems that their child may or may not be dealing with while attending school? When one attends school, whether it may be elementary or high school, they are in the hands of one person, the teacher. Teachers have multiple students in their classroom; therefore, they are not able to focus on one individual at a time. Today, there are several students who are or could be facing problems while the teacher is inattentive. When a teacher is unaware of the taunting a child may be colliding with, he or she has the option to confront the bully or tell someone to stop the bullying. Bullying is a problem within the school grounds as well as within The Rugrats episode, “Showdown at the Teeter Totter”. While the episode’s solution is to stand up and be confident towards the bully, another resolution could have been going to tell an adult.
The focus in this episode is bullying. Bullying is another way to be cruel to a person that does not deserve the awful treatment from another person.
