A way to stop procrastinating is to play games and have rewards for good, on time work. In the 1960's and 70's , a group of scientists conducted a study where they sat some kids down in front of a marshmallow. The scientists told the kids that if they waited a few minutes, they would be able to eat two marshmallows but, if they can't wait, they could have the one marshmallow right away. The kids who waited the time tricked themselves to not eat the sweet, gooey treat. The kids played games with themselves for the delayed reward. In 1955, a psychologist named Seligman shocked dogs to figure out how they , and essentially, humans, react to a hopeless situation. After he shocked dogs over and over again with no way out, he gave them a chance to escape and they didn't.
