Stony Brook: Participate In Research

Science is an ever-expanding canon of knowledge constantly being tested and reinforced by research across the globe. I want to become an active member of the Stony Brook iGEM team because it will become the culmination of my undergraduate education. One of the reasons I decided to attend Stony Brook was its esteemed academic community. iGEM will be an opportunity to collaborate with other students driven to pursue a career in scientific inquiry. Participating in research will enable me to grow academically and socially; I will be able to meet new people: professors, students, both at Stony Brook and around the world, and medical professionals. Moreover, the possibility of conducting my own research will give me the glimpse of the true life
