Kids and teens are at risk of cyber bullying and that risk grows more every day due to the popularity of the Internet. The issues of cyber bullying and bullying have increased over the years to an alarming proportions. Some victims of cyber bullying are so tormented that some turn to the permanent solution, suicide. The social constructionist perspective focuses on how a problem becomes defined. In particular, it examines how powerful groups, such as politicians, religious leaders, and the media, can influence our opinions and conceptions of what is a social problem (Leon-Guerrerro, 9). Stomp Out Bullying teaches effective and helpful solutions on how to respond to all form s of bullying as well as raise awareness, provide mentoring programs in schools, and creating public serve announcements and social media campaigns. Stomp Out Bullying is recognized as the most influential anti-bullying organization in America and beyond.
