Dispatch advised the reporting person, Brittney Clark, who is a Uhaul employee, stated stolen trailer had been returned the location at the above address.
Dispatch sent me the WACIC/NCIC returns which showed the trailer, which was a an aluminum flatbed/vehicle trailer KS/UD052, was stolen from a Uhaul in Kent on
11/15/17 reference case number 17-171460. It was possible the Kent case number was entered incorrectly and was possibly 17-17460.

I checked the trailer and verified the vin number matched that of the stolen report. I took photographs of the trailer and later copied them to the V:drive.
I completed a motor vehicle form, and provided Clark with a copy. The trailer was removed from WACIC/NCIC as a stolen.
Clark later showed me the surveillance footage of when the trailer was returned.
I observed a newer GMC pickup truck with the Uhaul logos back the trailer to the east side of the parking lot next to the rest of the trailers. The footage was not very clear, so I was unable to see the license plate, or any other identifying numbers on the truck. I observed the driver of the truck possible had blonde hair, but it was too blurry to see whether it was a male or female.
Clark said she was unable to make a copy of the surveillance, because only their
IT had access to that, Clark took a photo of the drive in the truck, and sent it to my phone via text message. I later copied that photo to the V:drive.
This case is inactive and is being forward to the Auburn Police Detectives for
