It was another beautiful sunny Saturday in China. Beijing International Airport was awaiting a group of friends, to arrive. John, Oscar, Riley, Madison, and Andrew were friends. They met back in middle school at the age of 13, now they just graduated in college at the age of 23. They made it through middle school, high school, and college with A’s and B’s on report cards. They decided that since they just graduated with master's degrees that they should go on vacation in July, so they went to China. What other way could they all spend their summer when they just graduated college? “When are we going to get there?”, whined Oscar. “It won’t be too long, only 1 more hour.” replied Riley “But that’s 3,600 seconds!” Oscar shouted. “Then you better start counting!” laughed Madison After about an hour, they had finally arrived, or as so Oscar had wanted.

Many people who were in the train, had found a nearby mattress store which was deserted. They had a good idea of sleeping there. At around 9:00 am, many police officers began the first of many searches for people, whose families were worried about. Oscar had braved himself into trying to tell the front desk manager to call the police to search for their lost friend. The group now was starting to panick. Andrew had left the hotel with Oscar, while both Madison and Riley stayed at the hotel. Andrew and Oscar quickly rushed back inside because it had started to pour, and they did not have an umbrella.
