Stitch & Stone is a fairly new company that opened in February 2015, with this said they still have a long way to go in order to communicate their goals and company effectively to their consumers. It would be beneficial for them to implement additional information such as: grand opening, company background, local owners story, who they target as an audience, what types of products they sell, what does she hope for the future of Stitch & Stone, etc. It’s important to let your buyer know what you can do for them, but S&S doesn’t always communicate this message to their buyers. They are interested in pushing out products for purchase but S&S has to portray how to keep their consumers and how to attract new ones. Breaking down their market target …show more content…
Sixty Six is their main competitor and their website is very complete, they promotes their new product lines, they have captivating pictures, they have a target audience, and easy to navigate social media platforms. Stitch & Stone must stay up to date with what their consumers want and let them know what they should be looking for and tell them what they want to know!

Their Instagram page has 120 Followers and 9 posts. (Appendix 1) And their Twitter has 5 tweets and 40 followers. (Appendix 4) Stitch & Stone doesn’t use their Instagram or Twitter accounts enough to draw new customers or keep their current customers interested in their company. They need to communicate more frequently new items, promotions or even contests in order to gain consumer loyalty. Instagram is a growing social media site, which many young women use on a daily basis. Consumers are buying from a name brand, the variety of Canadian products, the experience of finding items for your household that you might not have even thought you needed.

The tone on Stitch & Stones social media platforms is great! It’s not too stiff where their consumers don’t want to look at what the company’s saying in their posts. It’s fresh and creative, looking at it isn’t discouraging; almost all of their Facebook posts are accompanied by a photo and a link. Their wording caters to fashion by using words like boho chic, showstoppers, beauty items, super rad, ponchos=yummo, etc. When talking to their audience, Stitch & Stone uses easygoing language that doesn’t have to be stiff but is more fun!

They use a lot of exclamation marks in their posts in order to show excitement in their posts, it can make the reader see how excited the staff at Stitch & Stone is about upcoming fashions and updates. A few of their posts are a little long but they are also informative which can benefit the reader and give them the information that they’re looking for. It’s important to have a mixture of short and long posts,
