It’s true that sometimes change isn’t always the best thing to occur, but there are many positive aspects that are connected to that change that would’ve never happened if it weren’t for that shift. Timing is a huge factor on the significance of the change, like many things there’s good and bad timing. But, we can often overlook the good timing, assuming it is automatically bad and ignoring the fact that it is actually the perfect time for that change. The effect of a change in our lives is completely and utterly dependent on how we adjust ourselves to it. By ignoring and refusing to accept the change, we prolong the shift, making it feel almost unbearable. Our industries, lifestyles and cultures feed us examples on how we should change and encourage us to follow suit. They paint us a picture that captures change as lively and exciting. Life is not a straight path, in fact it’s not a single path at all; it’s a series of different paths and trails leading to different adventures by branching off into a million different directions. We can easily be swept up from one trail and moved to the other or even stuck in between two roads. In terms of how influential the change is on our lives, it all depends on how we decide to deal with the shift. A positive outlook can allow the adjustment to flow smoothly while rejecting the alteration can result in a prolonged battle.
