Improved Essays
Steve got out of the stolen car and proceeded to walk with knife in hand to the now limping jogger who was desperately trying to get away. Steve walked faster, his smile kept disappearing and forming on his face, every time a little larger, and a little more cruelly and extremely gleefully as the voices told him too. He grabbed the man by his hoodie and threw him to the ground. The jogger didn’t know what he got himself into. Steve kneels down next to the jogger and proceeds to go to work on the man’s body, cutting his chest and stomach carefully to minimize blood. Steve returns to the car and grabs bolt cutters from the back seat. He returned to the bleeding jogger who was now crying helplessly. Steve took the bolt cutters and wedged them

My sentence for Steve would be community service, probation ,and home confinement. In the state of Ohio a third degree felony is punishable with a 1-5 year prison term and the maximum fine is $10,000. However, considering that Steve has no criminal record he would not get as harsh as a sentence if he did have a criminal record. I would give Steve more of a stern sentence because hazing seems to be a big issue on the campus. If complete leniency is given other people might continue to haze because they are not really getting punished.…
