RE; Comment on Farmers Distributors LLC Application SEPA 2017-003
FROM: ???????
I wish to express my objection to any approval of the Farmers Distributors LLC application to establish a marijuana grow operation at 6351 Whitmore Hill Rd., Deer Park, WA. The SEPA Check List reported an estimated water usage of 1,000 gallons of water per day. The Washington Dept. of Ecology in Publication No. 14-11-003 December 2016 (rev.) estimates he water demand for a tier 3 operation to be 3,900gpd for an indoor operation. An outdoor operation would be well over this figure and would be expected to exceed the 5,000gpd Ground Water Permit exception. If the exception is exceeded the Farmers Distributors LLC would have to apply for a state water right permit and obtain approval prior to any construction. The existing well on the property produces approximately 12gpm and the pumping of the number of gallons required to service a tier 3 operation would stress that well, and that may likely effect nearby wells. Water in that area is
