Sometimes all it takes to achieve your dream is hard work. Steven Spielberg realized this and did whatever it took to reach his dream. As the creator of many extraordinary films he definitely knows about hard work. He is considered one of the founding pioneers of the new Hollywood era. He has proven that he can go from happy and silly movies to serious and inspirational films. Steven Spielberg has brought life to many amazing films and has no sign of stopping.

As a child Spielberg always had an interest in filmmaking. His parents were divorced when he was young. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December, 18 1947. He was the oldest and only son of four children. His father Arnold was an electrical engineer and his mother Leah was a concert

His first marriage was to a woman named Amy Irving. Their marriage lasted for four years before they went their separate ways in 1989. He had one son form that marriage. In 1991 he married his current wife Kate Capshaw. She has appeared in movies such as Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones. Together the couple has four children. Kate also has a daughter named Jessica from her previous marriage. His step daughter Jessica has appeared in several movies and TV shows but by far her most known role is Arizona Robbins in the hit TV show Greys Anatomy. Spielberg is actually part of the cause for his step daughters dream to become an actor like her mother. When she was young she would help out on the set of his films which really gave her some insight on what it’s like on the set. The couple also adopted three children. Overall the family’s net worth is around 3.6 billion. Spielberg is currently working on several projects. Those projects include a new film called Ready Player One. He is also making an Indiana Jones 5 Harrison Ford will be returning for one more adventure in the title role. Along with his three Oscar wins, Spielberg has received several other awards. In 2015 he was awarded the nation’s highest civilian honor the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
