Steve Rodgers Research Paper

Since Steve Rodgers was asleep for the past 70 years, there were a lot of events and new things that he missed out on. There are a lot of things that he would have wanted to witness, not only as a superhero/savior of America, but as an individual. He missed out on a lot of new things and events such as new technology, advanced military weapons/equipment, and world tragedies. There has been a numerous amount of technological advancements that Steve Rodgers would have wanted to catch up on, including but not limited to the PlayStation, the jetpack, and the smartphone. All three of these were great technological advancements that would have been on his catch up list. There are also a few military advancements that Steve Rodgers would have like to catch up on including the American Stealth Bomber, new long-range assault rifles and guns, and new drone spy cameras. Steve Rodgers would also have wanted to catch up on a few of the world tragedies that he missed out on such as the attacks on the twin towers on 9/11, hurricane Katrina, and the major earthquake in Haiti.
Between 70 years ago and now, there have been a lot of technological advancements that Steve Rodgers would want to catch up on such as the PlayStation. When Steve Rodgers was initially living, there weren’t many forms or entertainment, or things to take his mind off the stresses of everyday life. He would want to catch up on the PlayStation as a form of stress-relief from fighting villains everyday during his downtime to have a bit of fun. He would also have wanted to catch up on the invention of the jetpack. The invention of the jetpack would have a major impact on how he battles villains because he would be able to get around easier and fight more crime in a short period of time. I think the jetpack would be one of the most important things on his ‘’catch up list’’. The smartphone would also be a necessity on Steve Rodgers list. The smartphone, and inventions such as the iPod have just become accessible in recent years and weren’t around when Steve Rodgers was initially battling villains. I think he would really want to catch up on the smartphone because it would help him stay in touch with his ally’s easier, and keep up with villains. Secondly, there were a few military advancements that Steve Rodgers would have wanted to put on his catch up list such as the American Stealth Bomber. Advancements in air-warfare have had a major impact on how wars are fought in the past 7 decades. Steve Rodgers would have wanted to catch up on the American Stealth Bomber capabilities because it would limit the amount of battles he had to fight himself. He would want to be brought up to date on a tragic event that almost crippled his country.
