They just want to kick out all these 11 million illegal immigrants that take the hard jobs that not many people will want to do. These immigrants happily take these jobs without question and take it with very low income they deserve a chance to earn a decent living and the same benefits that we receive as american citizens. Another person that opposes immigration is Roy Beck and his stance is shown in his article “The Case Against Immigration”. Beck believes that immigration needs to be cut down because of the high number of immigrants that are already in this country and the damage that it is doing to our country. This is shown when Beck says “we enter a fourth decade of unprecedentedly high immigration and struggle with its impact on job markets, on the quality of life and social fabric of our communities, and on the state of the environment”(Beck, 1). Many immigrants are already helping our economy by paying taxes and helping our society by taking up jobs that many other people will not want to do because of the low wages and high hours. This is why simply allowing these immigrants to become american citizens would be the best and most effective solution to our rising immigration problem. The United States is a country that was founded upon immigration and it is our tradition to receive immigrants and house them in our country and give them a home. If this solution is able to take effective in upcoming years it will have a long lasting effect on our country, our economy, and the people that reside in these United States.
