Just about every person you come across knows who Steve Jobs is or has at least heard of him. Not many people know the true struggle he went through to make it to the top! Steve Jobs encountered many different failures as he climbed the ladder to success. Through his initial struggle starting Apple, to the failure of the first Macintosh, being fired from Apple, failing with NeXT and so much more. Steve Jobs is a true image of perseverance. Steve Jobs was a very “egoistic and complex man who sought complete control of his environment.” (Gur, N.D.). His now great company began so small in his parents garage. Through his story he has taught me that not everything worth having is easy to attain. You won’t always start at the top, sometimes it requires a lot of sacrifices, blood, sweat and tears to get what you truly want. Although he wasn’t the best people person. His professional perseverance is great and something truly inspiring, if he had given up so many years and years ago, Apple might not even exist today or at the very least, it wouldn’t be the great company that we have all grown to know and love today. I know I need to be focused in every aspect and keep pushing forward even when I am discouraged so that one day I can make a great name for myself in the Web Design & Development Industry. This isn’t the first time that I have paid attention to the true perseverance of Steve Jobs and I know now that I need to make sure to buckle down when it comes to school work so that I can learn as much as possible in my field and be able to stay on top of all of my work so that one day down the road I can look back and honestly say that I really did my best and that even when the going got rough, I continued to push through until I made it to where I need to be in this
