Steve Jobs Research Paper

Steve Jobs was a very successful entrepreneur, businessman, and inventor. Jobs was born in San Francisco and was immediately put up for adoption at birth. When in high school, he would often misbehave and be suspended. He took classes at Reed College before later dropping out. He soon traveled through India looking for his passion in life. In 1976, Steve Wozniak created the Apple 1 computer. Jobs suggested that they should sell the computer and that's when Apple Computer was founded. Their company was ran out of Jobs basement, which many people found as a joke. Jobs spent most of his time in his kitchen where he made phone calls constantly trying to interest investors. There are many characteristics that made Steve a very successful entrepreneurs, the biggest being that he was motivated to excel. Most of those phone calls to investors were harshly denied and most laughed at Apple Computer but Steve Jobs never gave up. When he was younger, he would do what he believed in rather than what his teachers and parents told him. This made him very independent and creative, therefor he wanted to follow his interests. Jobs traveled to India to explore the world and search for spiritual delightment. In conclusion, I believe that one of Steve Jobs’ motivations was independence. Also, when Jobs was a child, he remembers most about the long nights that him and his adoptive father would spend together working on cars.
