Given up for adoption at birth, Steve Jobs was taken into the home of Clara and Paul Jobs. He was born on February 24th, 1955 in San Francisco, California. As he grew up in Silicon Valley, he and his father shared a special bond for fixing electronics. Jobs was very smart in school. Although he was a prankster, he did have impressive test scores and a very smart, intellectual mind (Steve Jobs Biography). Jobs and Wozniak decided to start working together and started to build computers. They then tried selling them to businesses, but that didn't work out very well.
