The following year he bought an animating company from George Lucas (that worked on Star Wars) that later became know as Pixar Animation Studios. Steve believed in the company and invested $50 million of his own money into Pixar. The studio used this to pump out movies such as "Toy Story", "Finding Nemo", and "The Incredibles." Pixar came together with Walt Disney in 2006 making Steve Jobs one of Disney's largest share holders. Overlooking Pixar's success, NeXT failed in its attempts to sell its special operating system. The next year Apple bought NeXT and Steve returned to CEO of Apple. Just as he instigated the company in the 70's, Jobs also is credited with doing the same in the 90's, leading the company back on track. His brilliant products (such as the IMac) and effective stylish designs and branding campaigns hooked the attention of consumers once again. Apple is almost the first company in the world to be worth a trillion dollars
