Steve Jobs was a hardworking man, who refused to lose sight of his goal. He had a vision and he did not stop for anything to fulfill it. He forever changed the way we as a society view technology. The computer, which was once the foreign and terrifying beast is now the object that rules our lives. He gave us a fun and easy way to experience the whole world right at our fingertips. Steve Jobs was a unique leader because he would stop at nothing to achieve his dream and was not willing to let anyone or anything stand in his way. Steve Jobs was able to create Apple because of his unparalleled perseverance. Never has a man been so focused, so driven, and so obsessed with completing a goal. This need to achieve was Jobs’s biggest strength and his greatest weakness. Steve Jobs spent years trying to perfect the computer, then the iPhone, and finally the iPod. During those years of victory and triumph, however, Jobs left many behind. He missed out on a daughter, parents, and friends. Yet none of this saddened him. Even though I believe Steve Jobs lacked integrity and values, I do not believe the company could have achieved greatness without his cruel and relentless nature. Even though he personally was a dark and heartless man, he did not let that coldness reflect in his work. It as almost if Steve Jobs’ brightness shone through in his products. Steve Jobs found a way to inspire the millions who bought his products. Even though he is cruel by nature, I would not recommend he change anything about his leadership style. While he lost the love of those around him, he never lost their respect, and he never lost sight of his
