1.Steve Jobs by walter isaacson is basically about the biography of Steve Paul Jobs’ life from before he was born to until he died. When people ask others who is Steve Jobs? then most people immediately answer that he is a one of the innovative leaders in 21th century who operate the company called Apple. Steve Jobs was born on February 22th, 1955, in San Francisco. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. His father, Paul Jobs, was a machinist who taught Steve basic technologies during the mid 20th century. When he became 11 years old, Steve and his family had to move in Los Altos because of Steve’s school transferring problem. One of the biggest mistakes that Steve Jobs made was hiring John Sculley. He was one of a previous Apple company’s CEO from 1983 to 1998. He was also a leading businessman but most people known him as person who enter Apple Company and expelled Steve Jobs away from the company. Steve Jobs also said that the most failure role that he made was hiring John Sculley. After hiring John Sculley, the stock of Apple company had been decreased until Steve Jobs got back. The another failure decision that he made was selling a pixar in 1980’s. At that moment, he desperately needs money for operating other company and he was obstinate of selling it. In result, he could not sell it at that period; however, in my opinion, sometimes obstinate for entrepreneurship is very risk and …show more content…
If I was a Steve Jobs, I would experienced exactly same as what Steve Jobs really did, which is hiring John Sculley. At that time, Steve believed John firmly as a entrepreneur partner. Whenever Steve had any celebrations, he always emphasized that he would never succeed without John Sculley. Like how Steve did, I trust people, which is very harmful for operating business because some people can betray me. After get fired from Apple Company, unlike Steve Jobs, I probably fell in trauma and never trust others anymore. Also, because of this incident, I was going to sue John Sculley for taking away the ownership of the company. While I was reading the part of Steve Jobs and John Sculley, I could not understand why didn’t Steve Jobs sue John.
5. Opportunity cost appeared when Steve Jobs was trying to sell Pixar away to Microsoft. As a meaning of opportunity cost, which is give up something to achieve better one. Steve wanted to give up Pixar to develop and create better company; however, he
