The future is near as Steve jobs announces the new Mac Book that was started in 1984 and now finished in 1999. On October 5, 1999, in Cupertino, California was the day that the possibility of wi-fi connection and interaction with other people in the web was possible. Thousands of people came to see the spectacle of this new generation of technology and people all over the world were watching too as it was televised worldwide. Many people were in awe of this and the iMac sold out almost immediately. As a result, Steve Jobs gained billions of profits toward the iMac and inspired him to further research his popular iMac. He made many improvements to the company and the iMac which many people loved because the era of computers was here. How did Steve Jobs create this revolutionary invention that no one could manage to create and manufacture? Well, Jobs innovative thinking and his creative way was a part of his success. Another factor is the technology at the time. As more and more people started to look at the logic way things like cars were made and airplanes. People said that computers were impossible to make and Steve said, “that’s what people said about cars and airplanes and now we have that.” The technology …show more content…
It’s very complicating and Steve Jobs ran into some setbacks such as, different models of the iMac. There was a total of ten “iMac’s.” According to apple it states, “Steve Jobs reduced the company's large product lines immediately upon becoming Apple's interim CEO in 1997. Toward the end of the year, Apple trimmed its line of desktop Macs down from ten distinct models to four models of the Power Macintosh G3, which included the iMac's immediate predecessor, an educational market exclusive called the Power Macintosh G3 All-In-One.” Apple needed a replacement for one of the Performa’s price point so the company decided to announce the iMac on May 6, 1998 and began shipping on August 15,
