Martin Luther King was the leader of the greatest civil rights movement ever. MLK led several marches on from Selma to Montgomery, all of which were met with great opposition from white police forces. To keep going back and attempt the march again and again required much patience on the part of Dr. King. This is a big part of what made MLK such a great leader.
