The personal development I got from this experience was the life lesson of don’t be too excited when things are going great. The ego side of me really wanted to come out but my subconscious knew from watching Carell interact with others that he didn’t like people that were too loud, flashy, or obnoxious. That thought process unconsciously developed when I met Carell and his personality was exactly how I expected. He was fun to be around, easy to talk to, was overall very conversational. I personally think this has caused me to “judge a book by its cover” and be quick to make an assessment of a person before getting to know them. I do not do this intentionally however in my everyday life it definitely occurs. I make hasty assumptions about how people act and they are more often than not
