12 percent of boy football players take drugs the most common type is weed ,cocaine,and steroids. Too many kids do drugs that are students athletes and the have a choice. The people that are involved are the coaches,parents,other kids and the government. The connection to the constitution is that it is the students athletes rights because it is the student's body fluids. My position is that we should make the students athletes do drug test because if they have not done drugs then they have done nothing wrong.
Other kids get hurt each year in football 64 to 77 kids get a concussions each year 5 percent of those concussion could have been prevented if there would of done drug test one random students athletes. Robert king was a high school wrestler when he broke his broke his foot. The doctor give him painkillers and he became addicted to them. Then in a few months he moved on to a cheap drug called heroin. Then a few months later he got helped. …show more content…
The government had three high school texas,illinois and new jersey. In one case taylor hooton 17 of plano texas killed himself because he did not want to get caught doing drugs.
The only thing about drug test are that there are expensive also they can easily be rigged. Drug test can easily be rigged because the person could use someone else's pee.Also each drug test cost around $110 that is money they could be put to better use.

How would you feel if your kid was playing football and got laid out and got a concussions when that could have been avoided if they did a drug test before that
